The Meaning of Life is Discovered in the Experience.
This powerful, documentary-style film follows two brothers as they travel the world to find their place, purpose and meaning in life. They experience living homeless in New York City, the lost children of Lima, Peru, and lepers in Ghana,Africa. In a world with so much darkness and suffering, they strive to find what it means to be human and the paths to hope and peace.
The filmmakers from Grassroots Films will be coming to Michigan for screenings in three locations:
The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions of the production staff following the film.
Tickets are free of charge, we only ask you bring with you someone (or several people) that may be alienated or have turned away from the faith. Invite a friend or family member who you have not seen in church in some time. Or perhaps someone who longer attends youth group functions. Michael Campo, one of the film's producers expresses "The Human Experience" is not the Catholic Experience. It is for anyone and we welcome all. But he also adds: "It's gonna change your life."
Register now. Invite a friend, co-worker, family member, or neighbor. Be a part of The Human Experience and begin the journey and the conversation.

The conversation begins with the film "The Human Experience", but we invite you to continue the discussions and the journey with Welcome Home for Christmas.
Perhaps you have a question, an experience, or a hurt?
Many of us have experienced bewilderment within the Church or from her representatives. We invite you to come to a series of listening sessions where who you are and what you have experienced will be respected, heard, and treasured.
These listening sessions will take place at Newman's Bookshoppe, the Catholic Information Center on November 29, December 6, and December 13, beginning at 7:00 pm each evening.
We welcome you home for Christmas.
We also encourage our friends to pass along this invitation to those who may be willing to take another look at the Church. Please call or contact us for postcards you can mail or personally deliver as invitations to the listening sessions.
